The Boathouse Restaurant & Bar is located in the historic Terlingua Ghost Town and opens daily at 5:00 p.m. We have a full bar and serve dinner every day of the week from 5 - 9:30. The Boathouse has a beautiful entry patio filled with desert-blooming plants as well as a back patio with an outdoor stage and a breathtaking view of the Chisos Mountains. We feature live music by local and touring talent and host an Open Mic on Wednesdays. We hope you’ll join us whenever you’re in town.

Our menu features Don's Famous 10 oz. Handmade Seasoned Burgers & Fries, Grilled or Breaded Chicken Sandwiches, Salads topped with Grilled or Breaded Chicken & Fried Shrimp Baskets. Boathouse Specialties include mouthwatering Green Chile Cheese Fries, Sausage or Vegetarian Stuffed Mushrooms, Calzones & a Marinated Chicken Breast – great in a sandwich or on a salad. All house specialties are handmade in our kitchen. Each Friday we have a dinner special that honors a specific geographic locale. The Friday Specials have developed an avid following and frequently sell out.

Wednesday's Open Mic is a town favorite where both local and visiting musicians can be found. You never know who might show up to perform.
